Welcome to our Wishbone volunteer team! Please sign up for shifts here once your application has been approved. We recommend that you add all claimed shifts to your calendar with a reminder set. It is our volunteers' responsibility to attend all shifts they've signed up for or cancel/reschedule promptly when necessary in order to keep our operations moving smoothly. 

New volunteers will receive onsite role-specific training as needed. We are in the process of updating our training manuals, policies, volunteer hour tracking and other processes, so keep an eye out for any opportunities for input and potential changes that will be highlighted in upcoming volunteer e-newsletters.

Please note that you will not be able to sign up for a shift until you've completed our online orientated session and passed the brief quiz. After that, your application will be approved and your VolunteerLocal profile will be updated accordingly; if for some reason we cannot approve your application, we will contact you. If you're having trouble signing up for a shift, check out our video tutorial here
